Research and Development

We offer programming services and feasibility studies either remotely or on-site. This requires a contract with written detailed specifications.

R&D at our site $90/hour
R&D at your site $125/hour

Phone Support & Remote Administration

Whether you need technical help for 15 minutes or 2 hours, you have the option of purchasing 1/2 hour increments of support via telephone or remote administration. Remote administration allows our technicians to shell into your network securely and work to resolve your problem. Customer is charged for all time that technician must take in order to remotely access the network, including any issues of security.

During Regular Business Hours $30/half-hour
After Hour/Emergency $120/hour

All service must be completed 90 days from purchase date.

If you prefer to purchase hourly packages, which allows you to handle any number of problems within the time you have purchased, the Phone Support and Remote Administration Package is the choice for you. With a 5 Hour Package or a 10 Hour Package, you can receive professional help from expert technical consultants.

OnSite Rates

Are you having server or workstation problems? You can't drop by the store for repair? No problem. Our technicians will travel to your site and fix the problem.

Any onsite work that the service engineer must perform in order to properly correct the problem is billed hourly. This can include any network investigation and research required to solve the problem.

All onsite work is performed Monday through Friday from 9:00am-7:00pm during normal, non-holiday business days.

Per customer request, any work completed outside of standard business hours will be charged at a rate of $125/hour.

If our technicians are not available, and a customer requires immediate attention, customer will be billed an additional fee of $100.

Rate is billed from the time Technician/Engineer departs from Linux General Store location until he/she leaves the Customer's location. Return trip is non-billable.

After the first hour of service, customer is charged in 1/2 (half) hour increments.

* Holidays observed by SCPL
** Travel time required for on-site work is billable when employee leaves SCPL property. The return trip is not billable for travel within Atlanta and immediate surrounding areas. All travel time outside the area of SCPL discretion is billable. If on-site is to be performed more than 2 hours from SCPL property, the CLIENT is responsible for paying via their credit cards for airfare, car rental, hotel accommodations, etc as applicable. A $25/day per diem per person for meals and necessities is required to be paid in advance of travel to SCPL

Site Survey & Security Awareness

This service will document your entire Network Infrastructure. We will deliver a Network Diagram detailing your current status and configurations. Provided with this service is a preliminary overview of your current security. We will also identify obvious areas where improvements may be made to enhance performance and security. This documentation is suitable for executive review and reporting to internal and external auditors. Travel billed at prevailing Onsite hourly rate.
