Brief:
Polaris already had a logo and a website when we were asked
to redesign them. Due to an inventory worth $4,000,000 of
old stock, the new logo could not be drastically different
from the current one. We were told to ensure that the logo
should be easily accessible through a variety of media devices
like WAP and PDAs and that it should be a composite whole,
without graphics. On the other hand, we were asked to redesign
the existing website completely. They wanted a contemporary
European look & feel preferably based on two colours.
We were further told that the design/site should have cross-browser
as well as cross-resolution compatibility.
Our Endeavour:
Technical restrictions imposed on logo design implied a design
that could be represented clearly with a comparatively small
file size. We gave our client a number of options within the
parameters before creating the final logo with graphics intrinsic
to the text. We redesigned their existing website from scratch.
This includes all graphics and codes. In addition to existing
features, we created an opt-in database for the new site where
website users could register themselves to receive news regarding
Polaris.

What to say? Synapse completed a difficult project on time,
within budget and with enthusiasm. Graphics are fantastic,
code is excellent and technical abilty is unsurpassed. Well
done Synapse! I will continue to use you for all of our work. |
