Client Brief:
The Scindia School, situated on the hill fortress of Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh, is India's premier residential school for boys. They asked us to redesign their website in a manner that would reflect the grandeur and traditions of the school as well as its strong, positive outlook towards the future.

Our Endeavour:
We created a design that reflects the culture, ethos and spirit of the school. We created special house pages to give it the typical boarding school atmosphere. We added to this atmosphere, by incorporating sound clips and a 360 degree iPIX virtual tour of the school. The new website gives visitors a very good idea of the school. Besides accessing generic information, users can also browse through school archives. They can post messages on an admin-controlled message board. There is an online store for Old Boys and other site users to purchase school memorabilia. Created in PHP, most of the website is database driven. Parents of students can login and check on their wards progress in both academic and extra-curricular activities. They can chat with teachers and e-mail them with requests for information about their wards. The powerful admin section allows the administrator to easily display, maintain and archive records and images of different school events. Its powerful auto-archiving and auto-expiry features further minimise regular maintenance needs for the site. The highly user-friendly website functions as a comprehensive communication tool for the school.
