Client Brief:
This is an online community website for the Native American families. The main features of the website include community forum, viewing of upcoming events, articles, news, downloads to name a few. The registered members of the website can post their own events with the site, put up articles & similar other things. A comprehensive downloads section & e-mail newsletters help the members to stay abreast of the happenings in the community. The admin can manage & keep track of all the postings & content of the site through a control panel. for the website The Development platform is PHP using MySQL.

Our Endeavour:
To start with the front-end, we created a design that makes an effort to connect with the target audience visually to follow up with the plethora of information / services that the website offers. To enhance the user expereicne we color-coded the various section of the website. Throughout we had to take into account the guidelines laid out by IBM. In the programming end we divided the website into two sections : the admin end and the user end. While the user can browse through the articles, events, news items, downloads or opinion poll and such other information / services listed in the website; the administrator of the website can manage majority of the content including images that is seen by the user. Registered members can also take part in a discussion forum other than being able to post their own materials into the website. The development platform for the website is PHP with MySQL database.
